Then, he served his internship and neurological surgery residency at Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California/LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California (1974-1980). During his last year of residency, he served as supervisor for the neurological surgery residents. In addition, Dr. Ceverha received board certification in neurological surgery from the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
