Barry B. Ceverha, MD, FAANS, FACS, attended the Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, and received his medical degree in 1974. Then, he served his internship and neurological surgery residency at Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California/LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California (1974-1980). During his last year of residency, he served as supervisor for the neurological surgery residents. In addition, Dr. Ceverha received board certification in neurological surgery from the American Board of Neurological Surgery. And, he remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons. In addition to his medical degree, he holds an undergraduate degree acquired at the University of California at Berkeley.
